George is a Partner and heads the telecommunications, media and technology practice in East African Law Chambers. With his in-depth experience in the telecommunications sector, George also has advised in some of the most notable and complex telecommunications and ICT law related matters.
Having commenced his career with one of the Big Four Audit & Accounting firms, George worked his way up to become head of legal before practicing in a Top Tier law firm. He later joined one of the big telecom companies in Tanzania as head of the legal and regulatory department. George is a leading corporate and commercial lawyer who has handled major transactions including mergers and acquisitions in the telecom industry and other sectors. George is ranked as a recommended lawyer in Tanzania by leading legal directories.
George is an active member of Tanganyika Law Society, the East African Law Society and the Zanzibar Law Society. He holds a Bachelors degree in Law and is an advocate authorised to practice in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
