Erlend Lous is a leading expert within shipping and offshore transactions, financings and restructurings.
Erlend assists arrangers of sale/lease back projects, ship owners with sale, purchase, registration, structuring/restructuring and construction contracts, and banks in financings and major restructuring processes.
Erlend was the head of SVW's Singapore office from 2007 – 2009.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advising Sterling Shipping in their acquisition and financing of 4 Kamsarmax bulk vessels
- Advising Clarksons Project Finance in a number of projects involving purchase of 20 + vessels
- Advising Songa Box in container vessel newbuilding projects in China, and purchase, financing and sale container vessels
- Assisting a bank syndicate with Nordea Bank Plc as Agent in the financing of the DHT tanker fleet.
