Eduardo has been with the Firm for almost four decades and is one of Guatemala’s most renowned and sought-after attorneys. He has extensive experience in banking and finance regulation, tax law, telecommunications law and arbitration. He has spoken at some of the largest conferences around the world.

• Acts as permanent counsel to the Guatemalan Stock Exchange.
• Assisted ENERGUATE in multiple bids to purchase energy, resulting in an increase in the energy available in Guatemala. This included bonds being issued in their favour from a special trust offshore for an approximate deal value of US$300MM.
• Assisted in the financial restructuring of an important regional development company.
• Advised financial institutions such as Credit Suisse International and Citibank on important financial and banking matters.
