Cécile Berger Meyer is a partner based at our Geneva office, where she heads the Real Estate practice group. She advises both private and institutional clients on the full spectrum of real estate and construction matters, including major construction development projects, with a particular focus on complex transactions and regulatory issues. Her expertise also encompasses the acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets, structuring and financing of real estate investments, as well as administrative law matters such as planning and zoning, construction permits, restrictions on foreign acquisitions and public procurement.
In parallel, Cécile is actively involved in the Swiss real estate sector. She is Vice President of the Swiss Real Estate Association (SVIT Switzerland) and President of the Examination Commission of the Swiss Bar Association (SBA) for Construction and Real Estate Law. She has also served for many years as a judge with the Geneva Lease Conciliation Commission and the Lease Court and currently sits on the investment committee of a Swiss German pension fund as well as on several real estate companies' boards.
