Bruno Leroy

Bruno is a law expert with over 20 years of experience, he specialises in M&A, competition, energy, real estate and restructuring, inlcuding employment and PPP.

He has gained in-depth knowledge of the business environment and has advised on headline M&A transactions on the Romanian market and on sensitive European law and competition matters.

• Advising Lactalis on the acquisition of both Albalact (this was the first significant voluntary takeover bid carried out on the Bucharest Stock Exchange) and Covalact, two of the leading dairy producers in Romania.
• Assisting Lactalis during the merger control proceedings related to its acquisition of Covalact, including during the discussions on and drafting of the commitments submitted by Lactalis in order to obtain clearance from the Romanian Competition Council.
• Advising a French energy group on antitrust issues involving two cooperative joint-ventures controlled with an undertaking operating in the energy sector.
