Arturo´s professional practice is mainly focused in banking, financing (domestic and international), capital markets and M&A transactions. He has actively participated in various financings, loans and capital and debt issuances, domestic as well as foreign, representing borrowers and lenders, including the acquisition of various financial entities in Mexico.
Before joining Galicia Abogados in 1998 he worked as foreign associate in Mayer, Brown & Platt, in New York.
Arturo has taught Commercial Law II in the Universidad Iberoamericana and currently teaches in the Graduate School of the Escuela Libre de Derecho.
He graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and holds a master of law from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, where he graduated with honors.
