Biography

Carlos´s practice is focused in regulated markets, antitrust issues and governmental bidding projects. He also has ample experience in financings, restructures and M&A transactions, advising regulated industries, particularly in the transportation, communications and financial sectors. He likewise advises clients on a regular basis regarding services subject to concessions or other governmental permits. Before joining Galicia Abogados in 2012 he worked in the Mexican Federal Judiciary System, as well as being foreign associate of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, New York. Carlos was part of the initial team that headed the Mexican Restructuring Institute (Instituto Federal de Concursos Mercantiles). He graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and holds a Master of Law from New York University. He also has a graduate degree of Law and Business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
