International law firm Morrison & Foerster’s Singapore office serves as a hub for its regional practice and is helmed by managing partner Shirin Tang.

Highlights

Projects highlights include advising IDB Invest in the project financing of a 6 MW (DC) and a 5 MW (DC) solar power generation projects located in the Bahamas. This will be the first solar plant in The Bahamas financed by IDB Invest and one of the first utility-scale renewable energy projects in the country. 

Other projects highlight saw the firm advising U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) on all aspects of its financing of a new 12-fibre pair subsea cable system. This project will be the largest subsea cable system ever built by a very substantial margin. It will also be the first direct cable connection between Singapore, Indonesia, and the United States.
