JPM & Partners Serbia advised the Toyota Tsusho Corporation on the setting up of a joint venture in Serbia concerning the aluminium battery case manufacturing business via Serbian company Minth Automotive together with Aisin Corporation and Minth Group Limited, by purchasing or subscribing to a 20% stake of shares in the Serbian company. The scope of the work included full scope due diligence and other corporate, commercial, and transactional issues. The project is currently ongoing and led by partner Jelena Stankovic Lukic.
The firm also advised Banatski Dvor on all legal aspects of the implementation of a project to expand the capacity of their underground gas storage. This included project restructuring, commercial matters, banking and finance matters, real estate and construction, and energy mattres. The team acted as lead counsel and the project is currently ongoing.
