Highlights

ENS Ghana advised CrossBoundary Energy Ghana Ltd and other guarantors on term and revolving facilities provided to CrossBoundary Energy Holdings to support the development, financing, and operation of power systems across Africa. ENS won the "Deal of the Year - Loans" award at the IFLR Africa Awards in relation to this transaction.

The capital markets team, led by Paa Kwesi Morrison, Rachel Dagadu and Cletus Danliar Banseh, advised Merrill Lynch International and Standard Chartered Bank in relation to the proposed restructuring of outstanding Eurobonds by the Government of Ghana. This was the first exchange of its kind by the Government of Ghana following an earlier domestic debt exchange programme.

The projects team advised Carbon Solutions Services in connection with a proposed forestry project in Kwahu for the generation and trading of carbon credit, a developing area in Ghana.
