The team in Brazil is multilingual and multicultural, representing clients on local and cross-border matters, including mergers and acquisitions, banking, project financing, capital markets, financings, compliance, antitrust, disputes, and other practice areas. The attorneys bring over 30 years of experience, many natives to Brazil, with vast personal networks built over decades in business with first-hand knowledge of Brazil’s and Latin America’s legal and political intricacies. The lawyers and business teams are fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, German and French, amongst other languages, focusing on years of service to clients with business matters and interests in Brazil, Latin America and worldwide.

The US-Brazilian team is part of the US-Latin America practice. DLA Piper in Latin America’s Team offers full-service business legal counsel to US and global companies with interests in and operations throughout the region.  With over 400 lawyers practicing throughout Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Puerto Rico, in addition to our US-based cross-border attorneys, our team works with clients throughout every country in Latin America and help connect Latin America to the world.
