Financial and corporate

Addleshaw Goddard is an international full-service law firm with an established office in Madrid, Spain, launched in 2024 with a team of more than 60 lawyers, including a significant group of partners. The Madrid office forms part of Addleshaw Goddard’s wider international platform, which is headquartered in London and operates across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with more than 1,800 lawyers globally. The office was established following the integration of the former Madrid team of King & Wood Mallesons, which was absorbed into Addleshaw Goddard in 2024 and now operates under the Addleshaw Goddard brand.

Highlights: The Madrid team focuses on cross-border and domestic corporate transactions, with particular strength in private equity, M&A and banking and finance. The firm advises international investors, financial institutions and corporates on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and complex financing matters, including acquisition finance, refinancing and debt restructuring. The practice is active across a range of sectors, including energy and renewables, infrastructure and regulated industries.
