Charles is a partner in the New York and Orange County offices of Latham & Watkins and serves as global chair of the firm’s corporate department. He primarily advises on M&A and general corporate and securities matters. Charles serves as primary outside counsel to a number of public and privately held companies and he regularly represents boards of directors and special committees in complex strategic corporate governance matters.
