Romanian firm PeliFilip has split into two new firms.
Partners Francis and Carmen Peli have taken with them Oana Badarau, the former partner and head of real estate, and Mihnea Galgotiu-Sarau, the former head of litigation, from PeliFilip to establish their own brand PELI.
Under the management of Francisc Peli, each lawyer will have a similar roles at the new firm. Badarau will continue to lead real estate department while Galgotiu-Sararu will head the dispute resolution team. Carmen Peli will lead the firm's corporate and M&A practice.
The rest of the PeliFilip team have stayed behind under the leadership of Cristina Filip and going forward they will operate under Filip & Company brand.
