C&G Law hires new corporate partner in the Philippines

Rajah & Tann's extends presence as Philippine member strengthens corporate offering

Gatmaytan Yap Patacsil Gutierrez & Protacio (C&G Law)—a member of Rajah & Tann Asia in Philippines—has added a new partner to its corporate practice.  

Kristine Evangelista joins from Holcim—a Swiss-based global building materials company—where she was general counsel.

Evangelista has worked on M&A transactions with both local and foreign investors, and has almost 20 years' legal experience in securities regulation, corporate governance, anti-money laundering, e-commerce, data protection, consumer protection laws, and environmental law compliance. She was admitted to the Philippine bar in 2000 and started practising law at SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan.

Rajah & Tann Asia is a full-service legal network in South East Asia launched by the Singapore law firm, Rajah & Tann; and C&G is a Philippine law firm founded in 2007 that now has over 35 fee earners.
