Nordic law firm Maqs has announced it has split its Swedish office from the Danish and Baltic practices.
The Swedish firm will continue to operate under the Maqs brand while the Danish, Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian offices will be known as Njord.
The decision to split came amicably according to the firm, with the Swedish partners choosing to focus more on a national strategy, and the two firms will continue to collaborate on projects in the future.
