Bird & Bird has announced the addition of two partners to its Danish corporate team.

Philip Graff joins from the energy services division of global shipping giant AP Moller-Maersk where he was the general global counsel and conducted M&A work in more than 30 jurisdictions. Ulrik Fleischer-Michaelsen, an M&A, tax and contracts specialist, joins from Danish firm Rønne & Lundgren.

Jesper Langemark, managing partner of Bird & Bird Denmark, said: “It's an exciting move for the firm and we are delighted to welcome Philip and Ulrik to our team... their broad international expertise and client base are a good fit with Bird & Bird's expanding global footprint and international reach.”

Bird & Bird entered the Danish market in May 2013 when it acquired local firm BvHD.
