Tarja Wist

Waselius & Wist

Tarja Wist is a partner of Waselius & Wist, a law firm established in the spring of 1997 by Jan Waselius and Ms Wist.

Ms Wist received an LLM degree from the law faculty of Helsinki University in 1989 and was admitted to the Finnish Bar in 1994. Prior to the establishment of Waselius & Wist, she spent eight years with Roschier-Holmberg & Waselius as a member of its corporate & finance group and capital markets group, with securities law as her main area of responsibility. She has also been actively involved in legislative work in the area of securities law and served as secretary to the Legislative Commission for Securities Market Legislation in the years of 1990 to 1993.

Ms Wist has a wide experience in, inter alia, domestic and international equity offerings, listings, private placements, debt issues, securitization and leasing. She regularly acts for a large number of Finnish and foreign companies and financial institutions. She is also the author of several publications on capital markets and financial law.

Mirjami Kajander

Waselius & Wist

Mirjami Kajander joined the capital markets and banking team at Waselius & Wist in 1999, having previously been engaged as legal counsel with Merita Nordbanken's International Securities Custody and Settlement Services.

Ms Kajander obtained her LLM from Helsinki University in 1998, and is a member of the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA) as well as the Legal Society of Finland. Ms Kajander is the author of numerous articles in international publications in the field of capital markets and financial law.


Luc Rentmeesters

Allen & Overy

Luc Rentmeesters is a partner in the Banking/Finance Department of Allen & Overy and a member of the Executive Committee of the firm's Paris office. He has extensive experience of banking and finance transactions, his practice encompassing a wide range of cross-border financial matters. Luc has acted as leading counsel for arrangers and credit enhancers involved in domestic and international structured finance transactions. Luc is an Avocat à la Cour and a member of the Paris Bar.
