UK bankers still struggle with conduct

Bankers in the UK still face a dilemma of conduct versus career progression, according to a survey by the market-led initiative the Banking Standards Board (BSB).

The BSB was established in 2015 as one of many attempts to rebuild the public’s trust in the financial services sector. Dame Colette Bowe, BSB chair, said the survey, the most comprehensive of its kind yet, was like 'putting a dipstick right down into the workings of the firm’.
