Short of a full nuclear exchange with the Chinese (live
tweeted), Donald Trump really doesn't represent the end of the
world. Instead, his rambling pronouncements on a number of
issues are beginning to form a reliable message: he doesn't
like regulation, he'd quite like to see taxes fall and, well,
that's it. No surprises from the GOP there.
Where Trump does appear more noteworthy is threefold: his
stance on Nato and US involvement globally, his position on
free trade and immigration, and his somewhat ad hoc approach to
preparing for government. Each is a curiosity. But each also
requires a far less hysterical...
