Exclusive: Myanmar to redraft Special Economic Zone Law

Myanmar’s government is to completely overhaul its Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Law less than four months after the new law became effective.

The Myanmar State Peace and Development Council promulgated a Special Economic Zone Law on January 27 which included 12 chapters covering formation of the central body, special investor privileges, land use, bank and finance management and insurance business.
