The migration from Germany will not become an exodus

Company law reforms could make Germany an even less attractive jurisdiction for distressed companies. The new law will help companies migrate to other EU jurisdictions, such as the UK, but this outcome was not intended.

On November 1, Germany's company law reform bill, Momig, (Gesetz zur Modernisierung des GmbH-Rechts und zur Bekämpfung von Missbräuchen) came into effect.
