One of only two Asia Future Leaders recognised for debt capital markets work in Japan, Minoru Kobayashi is an expert in debt and equity capital market transactions as well as Japanese REITs, often acting as issuer and underwriter counsel in global offerings. As a recent example, he acted for Sumitomo Life Insurance Company—a major insurance company in Japan for its Rule 144A global offering of US$920,000,000 Subordinated Notes in April 2021.
