John is a partner at ASAR with over 25 years of legal experience, and practises in the areas of capital markets, M&A, banking and finance, and financial regulation. He has been part of ASAR’s M&A team working on transactions ranging from the typical to the highly complex.
John advised on Omantel’s acquisition of 21.9% of the mobile telecommunications company KSCP, Adeptio’s purchase of a 93.4% stake in Kuwait Food Company (Americana), and the acquisition by Burgan Bank of the entire share capital of United Gulf Bank BSC(c) in Bahrain.
He is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Law Society of South Africa.
