Illya Tkachuk

Illya is a partner leading the corporate and M&A practice at IMPACTA LAW. He is a seasoned practitioner with a focus on structuring and implementing foreign investment projects and M&A transactions in a range of industries – from energy, mineral resources, and heavy industries to agriculture, and IT and communications. Illya is particularly experienced in startups, setting up joint ventures, corporate restructuring, securities, and contract-related issues.

He leads the French desk of the firm, a team of dedicated lawyers with high French language proficiency who advise clients from the francophone countries.

Illya serves as a member of the Management Board at the Ukrainian Bar Association, the Corporate Law Committee of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market and is regularly involved in shaping Ukrainian corporate and commercial legislation.
