Ik Hwan Cho
Ik Hwan is a foreign attorney (admitted in New York) in the firm’s finance department. He advises foreign and Korean clients on a variety of transactional, regulatory, and corporate matters.
Ik Hwan has extensive transactional experience representing multinational clients in cross-border acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, securities offerings, and financial transactions. He also advises on securities and other financial regulatory matters. In addition, Ik Hwan has worked with a number of foreign and domestic clients in Financial Supervisory Service investigations and white-collar crime cases, involving insider trading, market manipulation, breach of fiduciary duty, and related issues.
He was admitted to the New York bar in 1997. Ik Hwan graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with a BCom degree in economics and finance in 1993, and received his LLB from the University of Toronto Law School in 1997.
