Biography
Ruth has extensive experience advising the firm’s clients on all aspects of domestic and international finance across a wide variety of sectors. Ruth acts for a wide range of financial institutions, funds and corporates advising on asset and aviation finance, acquisition finance, asset backed finance, subscription finance, structured finance and lending to regulated funds, work outs and debt restructuring. Ruth regularly works on complex leasing and asset financing transactions.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advised Apollo on the provision of a $700m debtor-in-possession facility to SAS
- Advised Bain Capital on a €100m development facility with Wells Fargo
- Advised Deutsche Lufthansa on its €3 billion state-guaranteed loan from state bank KfW and a syndicate of other private banks
- Advised the Steering Committee of noteholders in the restructure of Nordic Aviation Capital by way of Irish scheme of arrangement and subsequent Chapter 11 process
- Advised Bank of Australia in the provision of capital call facilities to a Fortress backed lending platform
