Biography
With over 25 years’ experience in the funds industry Cormac specialises in the establishment and operation of all types of regulated investment funds including UCITS and alternative investment funds. He advises on the establishment and ongoing regulatory obligations of providers to funds, including management companies, administrators and depositories.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advised Gulf International Bank on the migration of its £100 million trade finance fund from the Cayman Islands to Ireland.
- Advised Blackstone on its acquisition of Cedar Real Estate Investment plc, comprising a property portfolio of prime commercial property valued at over €535 million.
- Advised EG Capital Advisors ICAV on the restructuring of its share classes with a view to broadening its investor base.
