Biography
Owen Collins is a partner in Matheson LLP’s Energy, Infrastructure and Construction Group.
He advises clients on project development, project financing, energy M&A transactions and energy regulatory matters.
Owen has extensive experience advising on all types of energy projects, including onshore and offshore wind, solar, energy storage, biomass, hybrid projects, renewable gas and conventional generation projects.
He specialises in the structuring, drafting and negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs), regularly advising on REFIT and RESS PPAs, merchant PPAs and corporate PPAs, as well as related trading services agreements and other ancillary contracts.
