Megan Rodgers

Megan Rodgers is a Director in the Corporate & Commercial Practice and the Sector Head of Oil & Gas. She holds a LLB degree and LLM degree (cum laude) from the University of the Western Cape. She is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and Women in Oil and Energy South Africa.

In 2008 Megan joined one of the leading commercial law firm and oil and gas practices in South Africa. By 2012, Megan joined a niche oil and gas practice in Cape Town and in April 2015 Megan joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr to start the oil and gas practice."

• Lead legal advisor to Africa Energy Corp (TSX Venture: AFE) (Nasdaq First North: AEC) on its transfer of operatorship and a dual sale of an aggregate 62.5% stake in Block 2B South Africa ahead of the drilling of the Gazania-1 well.
• Lead legal advisor to the National Oil Company of Namibia on its sale of a 39% participating interest in the Kudu Gas Field Namibia.
• Lead legal advisor to Equinor on its transfer of a 60% stake in the East Algoa Exploration Block, South Africa.
• Exclusive legal advisor to Eni on its upstream oil and gas activities in South Africa.
