Gor Margaryan is a Yerevan-based lawyer with more than 17 years of experience advising multinationals, financial institutions and investors on banking, finance, tax and corporate transactions in Armenia.
His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, as well as acquisition financing, including plain vanilla, subordinated and syndicated lending transactions. A significant part of his work involves structuring investments and business operations, particularly in cross-border contexts where legal, tax and regulatory considerations are closely interconnected.
Gor regularly advises clients entering the Armenian market, assisting with the design and implementation of transaction and corporate structures aligned with business objectives and local regulatory requirements. His work spans a range of sectors, including banking and financial services, investment management, IT and life sciences.
He is experienced in working alongside international investors, banks and development finance institutions on transactions involving foreign capital, where structuring, tax efficiency and regulatory compliance are central to successful execution.

- Advised Incofin Investment Management (Belgium) on a multimillion dollar exit from its shareholding in Inecobank, including structuring and execution aspects.
- Advised Eurasian Development Bank on a USD 30 million multitranche financing provided to Yeremyan Group, including transaction structuring and regulatory considerations.
- Advised Bank of Nova Scotia on Armenian banking and securities regulatory requirements in connection with crossborder compliance matters.
