He has advised both local and international clients in arbitration, complex litigation and mediation matters expertise as well as his consistent involvement in some of the prominent corporate & commercial transactions in the country.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advised the Kenyan Government on the financial and operational restructuring of Kenya Airways Plc, including converting USD 2.3 billion into equity.
- Advising Art Caffe & Bakery Limited (the Company) and the shareholers in relation to the sale of the entire share capital of the Company to Emerging Capital Partners, a private equity fund established in the United States of America
- Acting for the National Bank of Kenya Limited (the Company) in relation to the take-over of 100% of the Company’s shares by KCB Group PLC – a financial services holding company .
- Lead advisor on the government-to-government collaboration between the Kenyan Government and China National Petroleum Corporation on a proposed USD 1.8 billion project to develop up to 350 MW of geothermal power.
