Biography
Gabriel is a key member of the commercial, energy and dispute resolution teams. His specialisations include banking and finance, project finance, capital market, corporate restructuring, oil and gas, regulatory compliance, taxation, employment, and admiralty and maritime matters. I am a contributor to the World Bank’s Doing Business Project from Nigeria.
Recent transactional highlights
- Advised indigenous upstream Company in its acquisition of a $USD720M facility from an international Lender and consortium of Local lenders in a syndicated loan financing;
- Advising a Governmental Agency on the recovery of N240, 625, 341, 385 debt from a consortium of loan defaulters.
- Representing a Bank in a labour dispute with some of its ex – staff on a claim of about N6B
- Currently advising a major Nigerian oil and gas company on its intra-group corporate restructuring consisting of 22 different corporate entities operational in diverse sectors of the Nigerian economy;
