Ed focuses his practice primarily in the area of mergers and acquisitions, and he spends significant time advising private funds regarding formation, regulatory and investment matters. The vast majority of his private fund transactions involve technology-enabled service businesses. He also has represented numerous companies selling to or taking on investment from private funds.

• Represented Spring Venture Group, a leading digital insurance platform in the senior healthcare market, in its role as investee opposite investor Corsair Capital in a strategic investment of undisclosed value. 
• Counseled Honolulu Coffee Co. on acquisitions, international licensing, supply arrangements, and hotel/grocery store licenses and agreements.
• Counseled Five Elms Capital on all phases of portfolio company investments and dispositions.
