Ben Kanter

Expert practioner in banking and finance work across multiple practice sectors, with emphasis on large cross-border transactions. Ben regularly represents leading global banks, financial institutions, private equity houses, large corporations and high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of transactions. Ben also specialises in aviation financing acting principally for foreign purchasers, lessors and lenders, including in connection with all of El Al’s recent and ongoing fleet upgrade.

• Advising HSBC Bank plc on its up to USD 250,000,000 demand guarantee and term loan financing of Coca Cola Israel for the joint purchase of Clover Industries, a South African public listed company.
• Advising Vista Equity Partners on its acquisition of Starhome Mach from Fortissimo and the related USD 105,000,000 acquisition financing provided by, among others, Tennenbaum Capital Partners.
• Acted as lead counsel to Bank Leumi in connection with a landmark EUR 250 million loan facility from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
• Acted as counsel to Urgent.ly and Otonomo following the former’s acquisition of the latter.
• Advised Ribbon Communications Inc., the Borrower and its group in respect of a new $385 million secured credit facility from a lender group led by HPS Investment Partners and Whitehorse Capital.
