Highlights 

In a recent landmark cross-border transaction, MFG showcased its legal precision and regional expertise by advising InterEnergy Group on the acquisition of BMR Energy’s Caribbean subsidiary and its renewable energy assets. The deal involved wind capacity in Jamaica and solar parks in Guatemala, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands. MFG conducted in-depth due diligence across jurisdictions and advised on the Share Purchase Agreement, regulatory approvals, and tax implications. The firm also facilitated key filings with government agencies, including Jamaica’s Office of Utility Regulation, supporting a seamless change of control for the local wind farm operator.
