The debt capital markets team is particularly noted for its work on debut bond transactions by emerging markets issuers, including advising Kyrgyz Republic on a $700 million sovereign bond offering, Kyrgyzstan’s first ever international securities offering and representing Republic of Suriname in its $1.575 billion sovereign bond offering.

Morgan Lewis is active in mid-market M&A, representing MSP Sports Capital in relation to the sale of its interest in McLaren Racing to McLaren Group Limited. The team, led by Robert Hutton also advised Searchspring Holdings in its acquisition of Klevu OY; a cross-border, technology-driven deal.

In structured finance, the team led by Theresa Kradjian acted as counsel to Merrill Lynch International, Barclays Bank, Deutsche Bank and HSBC Bank plc on Virgin Money/Clydesdale Bank’s issuance of £300 million Series 2025-1 notes under Clydesdale’s Lanark RMBS master trust programme.
