In M&A, the firm has advised German - French defence contractor KNDS on a joint venture with a Ukrainian partner to refurbish, maintain and overhail Gepards self propelled air defense systems. This transaction is a market first and represents crucial cooperation across Europe in strengthening Ukranian air defence.
In banking and finance, the firm has advised NIBULON, the leading grain exporter in Ukraine, on its restructuring of a USD $120 million loan facility provided by International Finance Corporation (IFC) to finance its expansion in trading volume and capital base. The firm also recently closed another restructuring for NIBULON of up to USD $300 million granted by German Development Finance Institution, European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Econstruction and Development.
