The Cayman Islands office, located on Grand Cayman, is one of four global locations, with headquarters in Dublin and additional offices in New York and Tokyo. The Cayman office is largely dedicated to the investment funds practice, advising the managers, prime brokers, independent directors, etc. of hedge funds, private equity funds and a variety of other investment vehicles in the formation of international capital-raising funds.     

Highlights 

The firm advised on transactions showcasing deep expertise in complex fund structuring and cross-border financing. Notably, the team supported Blantyre Capital in launching a global special situations Irish regulated fund, featuring a multijurisdictional structure spanning Cayman, Ireland, and the UK. The fund design included feeder funds, intermediaries, and SPVs tailored for tax efficiency and marketability across the US, EU, and UK. The firm also led the expansion of Blantyre’s largest capital-raising platform to date, involving sixteen Cayman PE funds, ten sub-funds, and a dedicated US structure—all backed by major subscription financing from global lenders.
