Bruchou & Funes de Rioja, founded in 2022, is one of Argentina’s leading full-service firms with strong international reach through the World Law Group. Renowned for banking and capital markets expertise, its six-partner, 25-associate team advises multilateral financings, FX regulations, cross-border deals, syndicated loans, restructurings, and major project financings. The firm is highly active in the mining, oil and gas, and energy sectors, and has led several landmark transactions. Its debt capital markets and M&A practices are equally prominent, advising issuers, underwriters, buyers, and sellers across complex, high-value transactions.

Highlights

Bruchou & Funes de Rioja continues to lead in Argentina’s financial and regulatory landscape, advising on some of the country’s most complex and high-impact transactions. The firm acted for international banks in a landmark repo transaction with the Central Bank of Argentina involving BOPREAL securities. It also played a central role in one of the largest corporate restructurings in decades, guiding Molino Cañuelas through a multi-year process involving over 40 creditors amid challenging economic conditions. In addition, Bruchou advised on Banco Macro’s acquisition of multiple financial entities, a politically sensitive deal that spanned banking, asset management, and brokerage services. The firm also supported Grupo Albanesi’s cross-border bond issuance, navigating intricate collateral structures and multi-jurisdictional coordination to ensure a successful closing.
