Cornel is a distinguished legal leader with 29 years of experience, currently serving as managing partner of Hermawan Juniarto & Partners. His career is defined by entrepreneurial firm leadership, most recently as country managing partner for Deloitte Legal Indonesia, and includes founding several prominent practices, among them Hermawan Juniarto (in association with Hogan Lovells) and Hermawan, Prasetyo & Juniarto.

Cornel’s expertise blends executive management within a global network, hands-on corporate governance from his tenure as a pension fund director, and deep specialisation in guiding clients through complex matters spanning infrastructure, M&A, capital markets, restructuring and insolvency, and commercial dispute resolution.
