Corin Trandafir

Corin graduated from the University of Bucharest Law School and pursued further legal studies as a Fulbright Scholar at the St. John’s University School of Law in New York. He also obtained a Diploma in Comparative Law from the Faculté Internationale de Droit Comparé in Strasbourg, France. Admitted to the Bucharest Bar, Corin has been practising law since 1993.

His practice centres on corporate law, M&A, privatisation, competition law, and international arbitration, with substantial experience advising domestic and international clients on complex transactions, corporate restructurings, and matters arising from Romania's restitution framework.

At the intersection of law and emerging technology, Corin advises clients on AI contracting – including risk allocation, liability frameworks, and compliance obligations under the EU AI Act – and assists organisations in structuring AI-related agreements that are both commercially sound and regulatory-ready. He is currently leading an AI-driven law-office workflow transformation programme designed and implemented in alignment with ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standards.
