CDH acted as lead legal advisor on the establishment of the Anthem integrated renewable energy platform, one of South Africa's largest Independent Power Producers, and the introduction of Mahlako Energy Fund and Norfund as investors.
CDH's Corporate & Commercial and Competition Law practices advised the AIIM managed IDEAS Fund and its affiliated entities on the restructuring of the IDEAS Fund and all its underlying renewable energy and infrastructure assets to constitute an integrated renewable energy platform known as Anthem, which is one of South Africa's largest Independent Power Producers. CDH also advised the IDEAS Fund on the introduction of Mahlako Energy Fund and Norfund as investors in the Anthem platform (which remains subject to regulatory approvals).
