The UUBO Banking and Finance team is pleased to have acted as Nigerian Counsel to the Access Bank UK Limited (“Access Bank”) in connection with the provision of a loan facility of up to US$70 million to MTN Nigeria Communications PLC (“MTNN”).
The facility has been provided to enable MTNN to refinance some of its existing loans.
The facility will also aid the injection of working capital for the conduct of MTNN’s business activities and operations as a leading provider of telecommunications services in Nigeria.
