June 2024. Alemán Cordero Galindo & Lee (Alcogal) advised Grupo Promerica on an innovative and complex transaction with Grupo Assa, two of the leading financial groups in Central America, both based in Panama.
This operation was structured through a series of corporate phases at various levels, with the aim of grouping, under one shareholder, the Nicaraguan entities Banco de la Producción, S.A. (BANPRO) and Banco de Finanzas, S.A. (BDF), which will continue to operate under their respective brands and banking licenses.
