Warsaw, 2 July 2024 – Wolf Theiss acted as local counsel to Schibsted group, a media and marketplace capital group with a leading position in the Nordics, on the Polish aspects involved in the separation of its business into two companies – Schibsted Media and Schibsted Marketplaces.

Warsaw, 2 July 2024 – Wolf Theiss acted as local counsel to Schibsted group, a media and marketplace capital group with a leading position in the Nordics, on the Polish aspects involved in the separation of its business into two companies – Schibsted Media and Schibsted Marketplaces.

Following the division, as of June 7th, Schibsted Media, now fully owned by Tinius Trust through Blommenholm Industrier, acquired Schibsted Group’s news media operations and will continue to deliver trustworthy journalism through brands such as VG, Aftonbladet, Aftenposten and Svenska Dagbladet.

Schibsted Marketplaces remains a publicly listed company connecting millions of users every month through leading platforms, including Finn, Blocket, Tori and Oikotie.

Wolf Theiss acted as local counsel with regard to the Polish aspects of the transaction. Wiersholm AS acted as lead advisor to Schibsted.
