Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm has supervised the transaction on sale of 70% stake in the Ukrainian group of companies Zavalivskiy Graphite, one of the ten world’s largest producers of natural graphite. The stake was acquired by the Australian company Volt Resources Limited.
The Corporate and M&A Practice team of Ilyashev & Partners advised the seller during negotiations and provided legal support in preparation of documents for the transaction.
The project was handled by Partner of Ilyashev & Partners Yevgen Solovyov, Counsel Leonid Gilevich, under the supervision of Managing Partner Mikhail Ilyashev.
Zavalivskiy Graphite, with its production capacity of 30 thousand tons per year, has been developing Zavallia deposit in Kirovohrad Region since 1934. The enterprise produces more than 25 main grades of graphite with carbon content from 85% to 99.5% and particle size from 10 to 200 microns, as well as colloidal graphite preparations and graphite-based cutting fluids.
