We assisted Citigroup, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, and Santander, as initial purchasers, on matters of Panamanian law, in the issuance of 3.5% secured senior notes due in 2028 for a value of USD$380 million; carried out jointly by San Miguel Industrias PET S.A. and NG PET R&P Latin America, S.A. under the 144A / RegS. The deal closed on August 4th, 2021. Partner Arturo Gerbaud led the Alcogal team, assisted by partner Eloy Alfaro B. and senior associate Rita de la Guardia.
