Congratulations to Partner Kimberley A. Rolle for being recognized by IFLR1000, the guide to the world’s leading financial law firms, in its Women Leaders Guide for 2021. The guide was published on May 5, 2021.
IFLR1000 Women Leaders are individuals at the top of their profession who have impressive track records and are consistently recommended by clients and peers for the quality of their advice and service.
Named as one of just three women lawyers from firms in The Bahamas this recognition underlines not only the strength of McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes in the jurisdiction but also its commitment to inclusion and diversity and the advancement of women within the firm.
Kimberley is Chair of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Transaction practice group and Vice Chair of the Real Estate and Immigration practice groups. She has also served as Director of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas and as a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Bahamas Real Estate Association.
John F. Wilson QC, Senior Partner at MB&H, said “we are proud to see Kimberley recognized in the latest Women’s Leaders guide and for her to be included in this global cohort of distinguished and highly respected attorneys. We are privileged to have such an illustrious female leader at the firm.”
According to IFLR1000, the Women Leaders are “the most prominent female lawyers working in the areas of law we research (financial and corporate transactions and contract, licensing and regulatory project work) within their jurisdictions.”
They are noted as an “elite group of lawyers with outstanding reputations within their markets” who have expertise working on complex deals or enjoy leadership roles with their firms.
“I am honoured to be a part of this group and a firm which provides the necessary support and encouragement to allow female lawyers to realise their potential and ambitions.” added Kimberley.
