McKinney, Bancroft and Hughes very own senior partner, John Fritzgerald Wilson QC, was officially admitted to the Inner Bar by Chief Justice Sir Brian M Moree QC during a Special Sitting of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas on 11 September 2020.

In a unique swearing in ceremony in full compliance with Covid protocols the event was live streamed via Zoom and Facebook.

Warmest congratulations to our senior partner as well as to fellow appointees admitted during the ceremony: Ferron Bethell QC, Cedric L Parker QC, Michael R Scott QC, and Krystal D Rolle QC.

Newly appointed Queen’s Counsel (QCs) are called to the Inner Bar and this distinction is conferred on distinguished practitioners based on merit and in recognition of their professional ability, reputation and integrity.

Commenting on his elevation, John F Wilson QC said “This is a huge milestone in my professional and personal life and of that of my family. I am immensely proud of the honour which is recognition not only by my peers but by the entire legal fraternity.”
